Explore Namibia with One Big Planet

  • Day 1.  Arrival to Windhoek. Your guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the town to drive you at your lodge for the night, so you can rest after a long flight. Night at Arebbusch travel lodge. Breakfast included.
  • Day 2. Head over to Kalahari desert after breakfast. Explore the desert on your way and try to spot some animals. Kalahari Anib lodge, Standard single room (breakfast included).
  • Day 3. After enjoying the views of the Kalahari desert, head over to the Namib desert, Sossusvlei area. The oldest desert in the world, with the only population of desert elephants and lions. Namib desert lodge, Standard single room (breakfast included)
  • Day 4. We will start the day early to beat the midday heat. This will allow us to climb dunes and catch the best photographs and see changing light. Sossuvlei/Deadvlei exploration. Sesriem canyon. Namib desert lodge, Standard single room (breakfast included).
  • Day 5. Set out to take a 5 hour drive to a popular resort city of Swakopmund. It is enjoyable drive with great scenery and lots of great photo stops. Swakoopmund Sands B&B, standard studio.
  • Day 6. Explore Colonial town of Swakopmund. With its European streets you will get a feel that you are in some little German town. Explore Walvis Bay as well. We recommend taking a dolphin cruise to enjoy the view from the water. Swakopmund Sands B&B, standard studio.
  • Day 7. Today is going to be a 3 hour drive to Damaraland, but the views are gorgeous. Stop at the seal colony and explore the skeleton coast. You will also see some welwitschia plants. Damara Mopane lodge, Standard single room (breakfast included)
  • Day 8. Explore Damaraland or chill at the pool at this desert oasis. Damaraland has a lot to offer from bushman’s painting to petrified forest to Highest Namibia’s peak. Damara Mopane lodge, Standard single room (breakfast included). 
  • Day 9. Set on 4 hour drive to Etosha’s west gate - Galton gate. This part of Etosha is different, with distinct kind of animals. Dolomite resort. Standard room, Dinner and Breakfast included.
  • Day 10. Today you will have a longer drive in Etosha National park, the jem of Namibia. After arrival, spend some time at the water hole in Okaukeujo. Okaukuejo. Standard single room (breakfast included).
  • Day 11. Great chances for cheetahs and leopards near the pan’s edge, near Halali. Okaukuejo. Standard single room (breakfast included).
  • Day 12. Another day of driving thru park. We recommend to take an early morning game drive. Okaukuejo. Standard single room (breakfast included). 
  • Day 13. Today is your last chance for a morning drive and start your way toward your next stop Tsumeb to recover after the park. Kupferquelle resort, standard room.
  • Day 14. Make a stop to visit the world's biggest meteorite in Hoba, then make you way to Waterberg plato NP. Watereberg resort, Standard single room (breakfast included).
  • Day 15. Head to Windhoek for your last day before departure. Spend a day exploring this small capital with only about 250 thousand people, or just relax in your hotel before a long flight. Departure from Windhoek.
